  3. Macaroni™ is interactive courseware for learning
  4. about how to program the Macintosh.
  5.  
  6. It visualizes Inside Macintosh®.
  7.  
  8. If you have one megabyte in your Macintosh then
  9. you must remove Macsbug and any third party INITs
  10. from your System Folder before you run Macaroni.
  11. Otherwise, you won't have enough RAM space.
  12.  
  13. Macaroni™ works best on a two megabyte machine.
  14. Two or more megabytes is strongly recommended.
  15. Macaroni™ performs about five times better with the
  16. extra memory.
  17.  
  18. Before you run Macaroni™, copy it from the CD
  19. to your hard disk, and then launch it with at
  20. least two megabytes of free space on the disk.
  21.  
  22. Macaroni™ can not be run from a floppy.  It needs
  23. workspace on a hard disk to operate correctly.
  24.  
  25. Like all stackware, you can compact Macaroni™ before
  26. you exit by selecting "Compact Stack" from the HyperCard™
  27. file menu.

  29. Macaroni™ need HyperCard™ 1.2.2. 
  30. HyperCard™ comes with this CD.

  32. If you are using Multifinder™, increase the HyperCard™
  33. partition by editing the field called "Application Memory
  34. Size" that sits at the bottom right corner of the Get Info
  35. box for HyperCard™.  To see this field, highlight HyperCard™
  36. (but don't launch it) then select Get Info from the File menu.

  39. entitled "Introducing Macaroni".  It's in Glue™ format.
  40. A copy of the Glue™ viewer should be on the CD.
